This is based on preference. The TI tip is near indestructible but the quartz tip gives better flavor. If you are clumsy or break things a lot, a TI is better for you. If you are careful and like good flavor the quartz tip may be what you want.
We think both of these tips are better than Boro as boro just does not have the thermal resistance as quartz or titanium.
