The simple answer is no, but a lathe will cut the time down, as well as make the job MUCH MORE bearable. Beakers and bubble bottoms get HOT! and by hand, it can be overwhelming. At Elev8 Premier, we try to use a lathe when we can as it also helps to make a much cleaner product.
