if the cx contacts us having problems getting the stir tool off on the sidekick to use the oil can, it is most likely the first time they are removing the screw holding everything in. when the Sidekick initially come the factory seal can be very tight. We have found it easiest to use a pair of pliers and a #1 screw driver. This gives you a bit more torque than the screw driver that came with the unit. Once you get the screw loosened, you will not have this problem any longer. Another way we have had luck with getting the screw off for the first time is to take the lid with the stir tool pointed up, and the stir gear away from you on for left pointer finger. with your right hand take the stir tool. Than hold the gear tightly, and push the stir tool to the left. This should loosen the screw enough to take the stir tool off.

How do I clean the Bubler Mouthpiece
With the Bubbler mouthpiece, there is a trick to getting them clean. You can use a Cleaner and just dump a bit in and shake vigorously, or let sit overnight. You can do the same thing with Rubbing Alcohol, soaking works best with alcohol. The best way to get the liquid out is to just Blow it out the bottom.  To help with any hard to get off grunge, you can also add some salt. We feel the the 710 cleaner is the best cleaner there is. (good time to do a small upsell)

Ground glass wand is stuck in the conical heater cover and can’t be removed
The wand becomes stuck because the glass is such a perfect fit and when the cool wand goes into the heater cover it expands slightly. This very slight expansion will cause the wand and heater cover to get stuck.
To avoid this lightly insert your wand into the heater cover on a DBV or concial SSV.
So far we have 3 ways to resolve this issue.
Allways wear a glove when performing these actions
- If you have a Da Buddha vape or Silver Surfer that has a conical wand and heater cover, allow the vape to cool for 30 minutes, then have them place the entire unit in the freezer for 20-30 mins. If you have a Silver Surfer, you should be able to remove the heater cover and wand from the unit and place them in the freezer. Again, have them check it after 20-30 minutes. This has been working for most of our customers who call in with this problem.
- If that does not work, keep the heater cover on the SSV and the DBV as it it will not come off and freeze it. After it is frozen again for 30-45 minutes, you can even go longer, plug it in and turn it on full blast. This will allow the heater cover to heat up allowing it to expand hopefully before the wand expands and allowing freedom.
- If these efforts fail, one other thing you can try is to take the unit out of the freezer, and point a hair dryer directly onto the glass heater cover, and see if this helps loosen the joint enough to remove the wand. This should expand the glass heater cover just enough to release the wand like turning it on.
- Here’s another method they can try, but it hasn’t been working as often. It does however work sometimes, so it’s worth trying if the first method doesn’t work. Run the heater on to full power. Once the heater cover is hot, have them wrap the WAND portion with a wet, cold cloth and try to pull it out. The heat will expand the heater cover while the cold will hopefully constrict the wand and allow it to be removed.
Do NOT break the glass as this could cause damage to the user.
