Clearance and Misc. Items

Misc. (Miscellaneous) and clearance items come up as $0 when you ring them out. All you need to do is add the price in. Clearance items get no further discount. At the end of the night, you fill out a log and include all of the discounts you did for that day.

When ringing out a misc. item:

  1. Log into QuickBooks.

  2. Go to make a sale. (Just like you would with any regular item)

  3. Scan the item or type in the item number.

  4. Under the price section it will say 0.00, change that to whatever price it says on the tag.

  5. Then finish ringing the sale up as normal.

Crafty Vaporizer By Storz and Bickel

The crafty is a convection-conduction hybrid vaporizer that works with both dry herb and concentrates. It comes fully equipped with the Crafty device, micro USB charger (short cord), two piece grinder, filling aid, cleaning brush, extra o-rings, three screens, and a liquid pad. It also has a built in poker. The temperature is preset to 180°C but can be changed through a free bluetooth app on your smartphone (104°F to 410°F). The app also lets you change how bright the lights are on the device and you can turn the vibration off. Once you have loaded the vaporizer, activate the Crafty by holding down the button for a couple seconds until the unit vibrates. A red light will indicate that the device is heating up, it will change to green and vibrate when it is ready to use. The heat up time is about a minute to two minutes. To kick up the temperature without the app you activate the Boost Mode. You do so by pressing the power button twice in a row. The device uses a single 18650 battery that can not be removed. The downside to that is when the battery dies the device will no longer work and you will need to purchase a whole new vape. An upside is, you can use the device while it is charging, as long as the device is at least at 25% charged.  It takes about an hour and a half to charge. The battery life is about 30 to 60 minutes.The Crafty device has an automatic shut off after one minute to save battery life. The device will vibrate to let you know it is powering off. Press the power button to keep the device on. To increase the vapor production there is a liquid pad that can be used for concentrates or as a spacer. Place the liquid pad on top of a half full bowl of herb for the best result. The liquid pad increases your vapor production for the best possible vaping experience. Most reviewers said they use the liquid pad even on a fully packed bowl because it does give a great vaping experience. To do concentrates place the liquid pad into the chamber and place a small dab on top. A little goes a long way, if you overload the chamber with dabs things can get pretty messy. The device has a two year warranty that does not cover the battery.

Ascent Vaporizer By DaVinci

The Ascent is a portable vaporizer. It comes with the Ascent device, two glass mouthpieces, two internal glass stems, two glass oil jars, a stir stick, carrying pouch, battery charger, and three replacement screens. To begin vaping with this device, pull or twist the bottom of the device so it opens and exposes the herb chamber. Make sure the screen is in the bottom of the chamber so you don’t lose product out of the holes in the bottom.  Load your herbs (has larger bowl that works better with full chamber). Turn the vape on (power button is on the top by the glass mouthpiece), the device automatically starts heating to 375℉. Select your temperature then wait a minute or two for it to heat up. A thermometer shows up on the screen while it is heating. When the vaporizer is up to temperature the screen will display something that resembles a steaming cup of soup.

Then you are ready to vape! The DaVinci Ascent allows you to customize your vaping experience and tailor it to your specific liking. For example, you can program the Ascent to start vaping at 325 for two minutes, increase to 350 for two minutes, and then finish off at 375. You can program different experiences such as relaxing low temperatures or intense long lasting experiences.

Can you get the resin out of the Percs?

Yes it is possible to get the reclaim or resin out of percolators with the right kind of cleaner. It can be harder to clean some percs. There are abrasive cleaners that you can pour into your piece, shake it up, and rinse it out. The grains in the cleaner help to scrape the unwanted materials off. There are other cleaners you can pour into your piece and just let soak then rinse. If one doesn’t work try a different cleaner. Some we recommend are Resinate, Kryptonite, 420 or 710 cleaner.

A hint to get it cleaner is to microwave your cleaner just a little to warm it up.  If it is alcohol you are using you will want to only microwave for a short period of time as it gets hot faster than water.  Also, DO NOT Breath the alcohol as it is not the same alcohol as what you drink.
