Can you make custom terp pearls for the Puffco or Carta?
Yes, these are just really small. We suggest a 3mm size for a Puffco as it has a small chamber
What causes igniters in torches to go out?
The ignitor is a piezo spark producer and these things eventually go out over time.
When the button on a Piezoelectric ignitor is pressed, a spring-loaded hammer strikes quartz in order to create a spark. This is the typical process used in such lighters. This creates the necessary amount of voltage to generate a spark.
Also, over 8000 feet a Piezo lighter may not work do to the fact that butane boils at 12F when at this altitude. Maybe it is not the piezo that goes out, but it is a butane lighter.
What type of coating is used on the roast and toast pipe mugs? Is it safe?
A standard ceramic glaze is used on the roast and toast pipe mugs. The glaze is fired at a very high temperature, higher than a lighter can get it, so we feel this is a pretty safe pipe

They are both derived from silicone dioxide. Both natural and artificial have about 99% silicone dioxide, while quartz glass (Swarovski) also uses about 32% lead to make the glass seem clearer.

Will a quartz insert work in a puffco atomizer?
No, the area for concentrates is very small and with an insert, it will not have enough room to work comfortably.
Also, this is a battery-powered unit and any added mass will draw the battery down faster than normal use.

How is layaway done for out of state?
Layaway is done much like it is for instate. You just have to email the form to them, and they must sign it and send it back

Will a quartz insert work in a puffco atomizer?
Puffco makes quartz bowls for the atomizers, a 2nd bowl inside the ceramic one would make the already small concentrate area too small.
