There is in all honestly no such thing as American made quartz. All quartz comes from outside the USA.
An American glassblower will fuse the parts, shape the parts and it will then be built in America.
How does booking for glass blowing classes work? From my understanding we want to fill them up at once or they pick a day they usually have off and we wait for more people with the same days, however I am confused about it. Can the advanced classes be 1 v 1 usually or does that usually need to be a group as well?
The advance class is ussaly for sure a one on one. This is why the cost is about $100 or more per hour.
If there is a single for the Liquid Arts classes, they must be booked on a day with other bookings.
Why do they call it Soft Glass?
It is called soft glass because it melts at about 1/2 the temperature as borsilicate. But what is really neat, is that soft glass is actually more dense than boro.

It is tricky to do if it is a formed shape. The trick is to melt the frit and the surface of the form, not melting the inside of the form. It is fast.
Does fume work depend on the glass melting point or the metals melting point. How much do those temperatures differentiate?
Gold and silver melt at different temperatures, the working temperature of glass will burn off the fume, which is why most fume is incased

In our industry there is no such standard thing. Maybe someone made something just special, that is possible, but it is not standard in our industry or the scientific industry.

Your heater is designed for industrial use and will last a very very long time. The SSV is designed to be left on to utilize the Aroma Top function. A typical lifespan of a heater running non stop is 5-10 years.
Keeping you heater from not touching the glass will insure a longer life. It can touch quartz, just not boro.

Yes, with a pimp cap it makes it very hard to have an aroma top work. Pimp caps can get tall and bulky. We suggest removing the cap to allow the aroma top to work.
