This is all really up to you.
If it is getting sticky or stuck, it is time. Some people try to not clean the grinder so they can collect more kief.

When applying, or drawing letters in glass does it need to be done in reverse?
It all depends if you will need to flip it or not? Are you putting your work on the inside or outside?
If it is inside, yes, you must write it in reverse, like what you see in a mirror.

Not really any worse than a pipe. I mean you can eat the fruit

Activated carbon will absorb pollutants. It is said that a teaspoon of activated carbon has the surface area of a football field. The toxins slide into the small holes of the activated carbon and are basically trapped.
Activated carbon is made by steaming carbon at 1800 degrees.

The manufacturer says yes. Smoking is not safe anyways, only pure clean air is safe.

Good question. Originally it was made for lab wear and cookware. Today most all scientific glass is made with borosilicate, and many schools have an in-house glassblower.
Your coffee pot is made of boro.
Many wine glasses are made from boro to enhance strength.

How do some glass artists incorporate metal into the pieces?
Metal is usually incorporated into a glass with a method of plating basically. Usually, copper is used as it works well with electrolysis. The artist will paint a metal oxid onto the glass. Then the copper will adhere to the oxide on the glass.
How long does an attachment baggie for the Super Surfer last for?
You bag can last for a lot of fills. Some people have filled the bag over 50 times. We do not recommend this as the bag does become sticky and looks bad. Really it depends how hot you vaped your herbs. Lower temps do not release as many oils, so you would get more uses from it.
We feel about 20-30 is good.
How is stress created in glass? How often does the stress cause pieces to break in the kiln?
Stress is caused when the glass cools unevenly. There can also be stress when different colors are used as they have a slightly different COE.
The glass will not really crack in the kiln if it is annealed properly and the colors have the same COE. Even though color is a borosilicate, it may not be compatible with other colors, but would be fine in a sculpture made of only that color
