The heater cover goes through many tests. Sometimes as a new product is developed tests are not seen until there is an issue. Then another check is added to the overall testing checklist.
If there is ever a bad product, swap it out and let them know this is one of the firsts, and that we are sorry for the bad experience.

A glass that sucks goes extinct. Terps sucks much like other colors you will not see.
Alcohol is pretty safe on the powder coating and anodizing. Powder coating is a type of plastic, so a very harsh solvent could potentially hurt it.

If the ceramic heater were bigger the glass ID would be bigger. While big is better, it is more about getting the air to heat. The new baller series helps all the air get to the temperature you want.
Yes, first off, the item might still be under warranty, do you have the date purchased and did you register the device?
I can search your name and email in our system as well for you. If there is no proof of purchase or registration that is no problem. I believe your heater could have gone out. We have a mailable product to repair it DIY style with the heater or dimmer, or you can ship the item to us and we will fix it up for you.

When diagnosing any malfunction with the customer, please always have them send video to confirm if you ask them to show if something is in fact happening. (i.e. video if the heater is turning on but not getting hot enough, confirming if the indicator is dimming properly)

The in-warranty fee is $0 for the fix or for the part. Your only expectation is shipping costs if in warranty. Out-of-warranty cost is $30 in-house and cost of shipping or part and shipping.

The SSV is made of aluminum and is not combustible. They are NOT waterproof but can be cleaned with a moist rag. If the unit gets wet, unplug it immediately and let it dry out
