What are some tricks for getting a broken banger or bowl out of the joint of a piece?

This happens ussually from being a bit dirty.   Clean you piece.

If that does not help, you can heat the glass, but BE CAREFUL, you can crack it too.

You can freeze the glass and then take a blow dryer to the part needed removing, this has helped.
