What’s the difference between UV reactive glass and CFL or florescent transition glass?

Really it all comes down to the minerals used in the glass to color it.   UV is Ultra-Violet reactive, meaning it appears to glow under black light.

What one calls CFL is not really anything.  What this means is that the glass appears to be a different color under fluorescent light than normal white light.  This is caused by the white light that is produced from a florescent light compared to the white light of say a LED light.

Color temperature Kelvin can also affect the way glass looks.

CFL means compact florescent, nothing more.  So we use the term florescent transitional glass as it is the proper terminology.

Why does good quality glass matter? And why buy over foreign glass like China

Good quality matters because poor quality can tend to break more easily, actually costing you more money down the road.  Elev8 offers the Phoenix Oath on all their high-quality foreign and hybrid glass.

Like anything in life you get what you pay for, and you get to support who you want with your purchase.

Nothing is wrong with China glass or the people.  It is the idea of the government of China that is not good.

Buying American keeps jobs here and also allows you to have a nice warm feeling in your heart

why is my banger cloudy and black

This is because have “CHAZED” your banger.  This happens from overheating your banger.   This is carbon that bonds to the quartz at high temperatures.   To prevent this we recommend cold start dabs.
