Customer has had their unit for some time, but now the unit feels to get hot, but the heat settings are not showing it. It also may feel like the SK unit is almost overheating, but still not going up.

On a rare occasion somehow this thermocouple has fallen out of the silicon collar holding it to the heater. Because the thermocouple is not touching the heater, it can not read the heater is getting hot. When this happens we will have to replace all the inner guts as it has more than likely overheated. Bottom line is that if the unit is doing this, the customer needs to return it to us to fix. You can see in the picture that the thermocouple is out of the silicon sleeve. We will cover shipping both ways for this scenario.

Customer calling to inquire about cleaning plastic tubing

We recommend using just hot water to clean the plastic tubing. The material in the hose is porous and can hold or carry the smell or flavor of whatever was used to clean it, such as dish soap or alcohol. If the plastic tube is used often, and it is really dirty, new tubing is recommended

Customer calling because heater cover cracked while using vaporizer.

It is likely that the heater is set too high in the unit, and it is touching the heater cover. Confirm heater placement in the unit; top of the heater should be located between the center and top of heater cover.

Also, the heater needs to be centered in the heater cover. If it is angled and touching the glass heater cover it will crack the heater cover

Customer calling because although their vaporizer is working, the product they are putting in the vaporizer is not being vaporized properly

Have they turned the vaporizer up all the way? If yes proceed below, if no have them turn it up

1 – unplug the vape, and allow to cool for at least 1/2 hour
2 – remove glass heater cover
3 – lift ceramic heater so it just about reaches the glass heater cover
4 – replace glass heater cover
5 – the heater should be quite close to the heater cover, but it should not touch the glass, or the cover will break. I’ve found that the easiest way to lower the heater just enough is to use the pick to push down the heater just enough to prevent it from touching the glass, usually about 1/8 of an inch

Yes, you can vend whatever you like however you like.  We encourage you getting out there and meeting people and letting them know the Elev8 way of life.

We do however discourage building a stock of goods to sell.  We do not want anyone investing in products and expect sales to come from placing an order for your client.
