Glass coefficiency is basically compatibility. How can the glass cooperate with itself or other types of glass. AKA COE for Coefficient of Expansion.

We feel a tool with a flat tip, or something like a shovel is an ideal shape for shatter. Another way is to warm up a dab tool, just a little, this will allow the shatter to just stick to the tool

What allows color shifting glass to actually shift?
The minerals that are used in the glass for color. Some minerals react to UV, fluorescent light or just the Kelvin temperature. This is based on the light and how the minerals reflect the light to your eye.
Basically, the light is white, with all colors. Then if you use say one kind of light source, it only has so many color wavelengths in it compared to the white light of the sun. Even white light is different based on the Kelvin temperature. Minerals.

Are there any major differences between china quartz and American made quartz?
Well, from our understanding all quartz is actually made over seas. Then what we call American quartz is fabricated to the banger here in the USA, using foreign quartz. Much like Elev8 uses Shott glass and is made in Germany, but a clear water pipe made on Shott glass is still considered USA made, or we should say USA built as the materials come from out of the country.
Does heat retention correlate to thickness and quality of material used to assemble a banger?
Heat retention are mostly based on thickness as most bangers are made from quartz. The more mass, the longer the heat retention.
