Are recyclers any smoother than a rig with a simple percolator?

We do not feel it makes the experience smoother.  As long as there are perc and the smoke or vapor goes through water, the smoke or vapor is cooled, cleaned, and moistened.    The more water this goes through the better it is cooled, cleaned, and moistened.  Recyclers are dope as they make the rig more compact.

Is there a difference when it comes to using quartz vs. non quartz terp pearls?

Nope, a little piece of of what ever in there is ok.  SO long as it does not melt or break from the heat.  You can even use our soft glass diffuser beads as terp pearls.

The main thing of a terp pearl is fun and entertainment.  The do help hold more heat as they add more mass to the banger.  They also ahh, kinda help the vaporization process, but a good carb cap will move the oils also, so this is why we find terp pearls to be mostly for fun, but that is what life is all about!!

Is it possible to fix a percolator inside a waterpipe? Why or why not?

Yes it is, but it is very very hard to do do this.  Sometimes the way the glass is made, it has to be made in steps.  So if a perc breaks inside, it can be very difficult to get the pipe where it needs to be in order to fix the perc.

Each perc and break has its own issues on the difficulties.  It is always best to send a picture to glass@elev8premier.com.  Jeff can help you out better with this.

What is the best way to clean the dab dish?

We have found the best way is to clean it after each use with a tidy tip.  Also, running the temperature at the lowest you like will also allow the oils to not burn and cleanout easier.

Next, we recommend you can add a few drops of water to the dish when hot and then use a Tidy tip to clean it out.

If you have failed at maintaining the cleanliness and it is looking dark you can

remove the dish and let sit in alcohol for a day.  You may need to scrap it some and add some salt.

You can also use a torch after you have removed most of the burnt oils and debris from the dish.   Using a torch to clean the dish can cause it to get “Chazed” if it is too dirty and you get it too red hot.   Just get it hot enough that the black starts to burn off, when clear you are done.  No need to get it red hot.
