This is a misconception in the industry. It used to be that people wanted big hits, the larger the pipe, the bigger the hit they think. Back in the day there were no concentrates.
Today much of the glass is made by kids with small arms so they can not hold the larger glass. They claim it helps deliver better flavor, we find it is because they need more muscles.
Only the green glowing glass has uranium salts in it. The salts used are degraded so that they are not as reactive. Do not use a lot.
This can be done with gold paint, or the glass can be fumed with gold so it is very heavy.
Elev8 does not make vaporizers, but rather a cannabis vehicle. Our vehicle can heat up dry herbs and concentrates to a point that they vaporize, so yes we do vaporize. But we do not make vape pens or thing that use a liquid. Our products are not geared towards kids.
If these are stuck on your unit it could be because you have used too much oils and they have fallen in the unit. If the unit is cold, it will be stuck. Let it warm up, then turn it off and try. You should use a thick glove to not burn yourself.
If the EOK is stuck in the adapter, the reality is leave it. Let it be.
The goal is to move the oils around the dish so they stay hot and vaporize. Really all one needs is a good carb cap to move the oils around the dish. Terp pearls are for fun and adding a little more mass.
One should not really go above 10 psi. If the end of the tube is closed only with filter paper, there will not be a lot fo pressure that builds. This is against the law in Colorado so do not do it.
We do not recommend that anyone extracts cannabis at home with butane.
But is there a difference? Mostly it does not matter, the fact is that it needs to let sit anyways to let the butane evaporate. If you do not want to take chances with butane, look into raw dabs (vaporizing flower) with a Silver Surfer vaporizer.
Really old glass may have too much in it. Any glass made today is safe as can be.
This all comes down to what you like. Some things to consider are:
The smaller the pearl, the easier it is to spin
The larger the pearl, the more heat it holds allowing a longer dab session.
We like the 5mm for the overall best pearl, but LOVE the affordability of the soft glass one.
