This is a great question and may seem that it is needed, but it is NOT. The user has more control of the temperature of the heat with their inhale speed than the heater has. Anytime there is digital it is a lie. Only the heater can be measured by what is called a thermistor. This thermistor measures the temperature of the “heater” NOT the temperature of the air going over the herb.
Therefore Digital for vaping flowers is just crap. Also, some like it hotter and some like it cooler. With the infinite adjustability of the SSV a true connoisseur will find its sweet spot.
Also, with digital it would take away the handcrafted feel that IS the Silver and Super Surfer.
