Basically the denser the “terp pearl” the more heat it will retain. BUT, these are small, so they really do not do much. They are very fun to watch spin though! Life is all about fun!
A borosilicate marble should be just fine! Boro is designed to withstand some temperature changes.

The opaque banger has this look because it is whipped quartz. This puts bubbles in it. Some believe this holds heat, but this is NOT true. Air is a great insulator, but not a heat retainer. The thick wall is thick to retain heat and give a more even dab.
