In borosilicate, one can only really encase synthetic Gilson opals. One can also fuse Tourmaline
Can the Flavor Disc be cleaned up?
Yes, you can see how to clean a flavor disc basically 2 ways. You can soak it in alcohol and let it completely dry. Or you can burn it with a torch.
Would we ever make rolling trays to sell with our logo?
We consider most all things at Elev8. Currently, we are working on a rolling tray called The Trunk. This is a wooden tray made here in Colorado Springs.
Does an SSV or DBV heater burn out over time?
Yes, after time like anything the Silver Surfer heater will stop working. This can happen from 3-10 years. If it happens before 3 years you are covered by the warranty.

If someone misses their Glassblowing class are they able to just reschedule?
Yes, you must notify us 48 hours prior to the LAE class.

- Reschedule within 48 hours with no fee
- Reschedule between 48-24 hours is a 10% rescheduling fee

Do all rigs come with bowls? If so are these able to be traded for Bangers?
All Elev8 rigs sold for wholesale and retail do come with a bowl or our most affordable banger at the time. Currently, you can get a bowl or a slant top banger with any rig purchase. There is also a deal for wholesale customers here.
How much does it cost to start blowing glass.
Elev8 offers a 4 hour beginner class for only $125 per person. You get to keep what you make and you have a teacher there for your needs.
After that cost depends if you blow at home, rent a studio if you take classes if you go on your own.

Loosen the atomizer by an 1/8 of a rotation

What dose the Knob on top of the Super Soaker Come out for? what is it used for.
The plug on top of the super soaker is a plug for a 10mm, 14mm and 19mm female joints.
