The more we have the better. If there is ever a glass artist that wants to participate in making a custom SSV, we encourage them to get a hold of STEVE on his IG.
The SSV requires a very specific ID of glass for the heater cover and this is only possible with boro. Having the 10mm joint also allows the same dish to be used on the SSV and the SUP
The ID of the heater cover for the SSV is very specific and therefor there needs to be a way to swap to quartz or any other heater cover design that may evolve.
YES! The goal is to get the crap off the streets and replace it with our Elev8 high quality bangers.
Yes, bubblers with percs are not a problem for Elev8 Premier to make

Soft glass does not have the thermal expansion abilities as borosilicate glass. Changing temperatures fast on soft glass will cause it to crack.
Yes, crushed opal can be mixed with nearly any color, but transparent are better. Many times the crushed opal is sleeved over color.
Yes, the beauty of the SSV is that it can always be upgraded. A 2007 is better to have it sent in to upgrade the heater stand to the new spring tension style. The old style used spacers to compensate the variable ID of the heater cover that comes from Shotte glass with tolerance.
