How Do Extraction Tubes work?
Extraction tubes are used to strip all the essential oils and compounds from a plant mater. Many times butane is used in the extraction process. Do not do this at home with cannabis as in Colorado this is a felony. Any extraction tubes sold are only for extracting legal oils from legal herbs like lavender.
What is the Purpose of Dabbing?
Dabbing is a term for vaporizing concentrates in a banger, nail or dish.
The purpose of dabbing is to get the compounds in cannabis into your body without any of the plant material.
Dabbing is seen to be a more healthy way of consuming compared to smoking. While we agree with this, we also disagree that dabbing is the best. We feel vaporizing dry flower offers a more full spectrum extraction of vapor than the vapor from dabbing.
Dabs, oils, budders or whatnot can all be added to flower to enhance the flower and allow the user to get the full spectrum allowing for the entourage effect

What is “annealing” or the “annealing point”?
ANNEALING–
The process of letting the glass cool very slowly so that internal stresses are removed and the glass is tougher than it was. What annealing is to us as glassblowers- This can mean a lot of things to us in the glass blowing world, yet still means the same thing. We anneal the glass in order to remove the stress. The stress is built up in the glass as some parts are hotter than others and the molecules move differently depending on if they were hotter or cooler. What we are doing when we anneal is to bring all the molecules up to the same temperature so they all dance the same. This is not actually annealing though. The annealing starts as we cool the glass. The slower the better. This allows all the molecules to cool at the same rate. This way the molecules arrange in a more uniform way. The thicker the glass the slower the glass much cool to become fully annealed. Borosilicate glass anneals at 1050 F. Soft glass (Moretti) anneals at 960 F.

Why does a vortex marble look deeper than it actually is?
This is caused by what is called an optical illusion. The way the light bounces and the way it gets smaller as it goes away makes it seem deeper. Its like a drawing that is 2d, but looks 3d.
A good vortex will not end and look like a pin hole in the back.
My downstem keeps clogging what can i do to stop that from happening with my favorite piece?
Theres a few solutions, clean the piece more often, get a new downstem with larger holes, use a bowl with a built-in screen or put screens in your bowl, or use an ashcatcher attached to the piece to filter out the ash and plant matter that may come through the bowl piece.
We have noticed that when doing dabs the small holes can clog even faster than by combusting a bowl. This is done to the fact that the fats and lipids cool in the water and when the vapor goes through the small holes that is when the air has the most contact with the surface of the glass, hence this becomes the place to clog first.
