This glass uses some kind of phosphor in the glass to glow. Most of this will be destroyed at the high temperatures that are needed to work glass.

Many reasons can cause the glass to break during a repair.
If a crack is in the glass from an original break, it could grow and cause more of the piece to crack. This can happen just from heating up in the kiln.
Sometimes welds are not as good as we hope, and when this happens the blower has no control over how the piece to be repaired will react to thermal change.
Sometimes the blower runs into a scenario they have never seen in glass and do not know how to fix the piece. This can happen during the repair that maybe the blower could not foresee. Elev8 Premier has a team of blowers look at the glass before any
This all comes down to the user. Reality is the more the smoke or vapor passes by water, the cleaner it will be. Theoretically, if you went through enough water you would get clean air.
We feel 3 percs max is all you need. Past 3 percs it gets hard to pull all the air through the water, as well as the volume starts to be too much.
This would make a great experiment
The Smoke Buddy is a personal filter that you blow your smoke through. It has an activated carbon filter that catches the smoke and holds most of the particles in the filter, keeping most of the smell and smoke inside the filter. To make them last longer, leave the caps off for a while after use so moisture from your breath is allowed to evaporate out.
Purging a torch is when you let out any excess air and/or butane from the torch. We recommend before every fill-up that your flip your torch upside down and press on the valve to release any excess air or butane (a ballpoint pen, mechanical pencil or a clean dabber works great). This not only gets the old butane out but also depressurizes the tank so that you can fill up your torch to its maximum capacity.
This all depends on the minerals in the glass. Some glass will reflect the UV light making it look like it is kinda glowing. White does this as well as some pinks.
Then there are other glass-like Illuminati that have uranium salts in the glass that reacts to the UV light causing them to get brighter.
Yes, it will definitely prolong the life of your atomizer and taste better if you swab it out after each use or at least every 4-6 uses. Using a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol with help as well. Just be sure to gently clean it with minimal pressure so you don’t damage the atomizer. If you have a heater that has metal wires wrapped in it, these are more sensitive and work best if you remove the heater and let soak in ISO for a day.
We also recommend taking the atomizer off of the battery to make it easier to clean. Many people will have an extra so they can use one while the other soaks.
