What causes a decal to come off of a brand new piece of glass?
This can happen if the glass was not heated up to 1100. Also, if there was water under the decal and it was not allowed to dry it can cause issues.

As for Slat’s design, he presses in the side and then covers it with glass making a tube. This takes a lot of time and patience but is super dope.
We feel is the holes get to small like Avant Garde, it requires a lot of cleaning. But, it’s well worth it!

This is another idea of the thermochromatic banger. As yellow boro glass gets hot, it will change color. The idea behind this is at a certain color the banger is the proper temp. Once you figure this out you can get a nice hit. We feel just a cold start dab is way better as you get the coolest hit. Even better is getting a Silver Surfer with the quartz dab dish. This allows you to find your perfect temperature and then the Surfer will maintain the temperature for you. This gives you the perfect hit every time.

What makes glass become hazy?
This is called diversification, and you can learn more here. This can happen from it being worked too much. We think this happens because some of the sodium has been lost. It can also happen from it cooling to fast on the skin and not on the inside, but this type can be fire-polished. If the hazy comes from overworking, the glass is ruined.
Bangers tend to get hazy or chazed when a user torches the quartz too hot with too much carbon in the banger. The carbon will start to bond to the quartz, causing the chaze

This could be when the mechanism is in it most wide-open place and the motor is started. This happens rarely, but it can happen. If you have your scissor open, unplug the unit, close the scissors and then plug back in. This should do the trick.
Do certain carb caps work better for bangers than others? ex: does a bubble cap work best for a flat top banger instead of a directional cap?
It all comes down to what you like. Bubble caps we find are the most versatile.
