Not really. There is a small vacuum in the air bubble as it was created at a high temperature, but the glass is annealed. Bad colors are worse than a bubble, or even butts in the glass that a glassblower can put there from making the glass
What was the inspiration behind your logo?
THE ELEV8 SWOOSH
- It’s an 8 and we find it very neat that 8=ate for ELEVATE. Ok, not the neatest symbol, but it’s neat how one number can represent 3 letters. That to us symbolizes that if you look deep at things and Elev8 with it, you can find something else. What that something else is, well you need to find it and let us know! We also love the 8 is an upright eternity sign!
- The next thing that you may notice is the two like half circles or moons. So this represents night and day, the sun and the moon, good and evil, Ying and Yang. When we look at this it means live life for now, at this moment. This moment will end and become the past very soon as day turns to night. Also, remember to enjoy the good times. Know that when times are bad they will get better like the sun rising to shed light on the night
- Maybe you noticed the up arrow before the moon and sun? Well, that is fully intentional as it represents Elev8 to the fullest. Always be positive and look to the future. Elev8 your mind with what interests you and do it well. Elev8 your mind with the knowledge that opens doors. Then Elev8 your body by taking care of it, it’s your temple. Use your body to accomplish things in life and love your body no matter the shape, it’s who you are and it’s perfect. Finally but not last, Elev8 your Spirit. Keep a good attitude and stay conscious to your life. You only get this one that you know of.
- That up arrow is really neat for us as it also represents where we started. The point represents Pikes Peak as we have our headquarters right in front and get to see the majesty of it daily! But that arrow does not stop there. If you turn the Elev8 swoosh upside down and look in the mirror you will see a 7. This is where the adventure started for the found Steve and 7th Floor.

Is using rose petals to roll a joint unhealthy?
Anything you smoke is unhealthy. But will smoking rose petals get you sick?
No, you can roll a joint using rose petals.
You can smoke rose petals as a tobacco substitute and also use it as an additive in a joint, i.e., in combination with cannabis concentrates. If you smoke the rose petals, you may easily feel euphoric. However, this feeling is not very long-lasting. What persists is it brings you in a positive mood and offers a fundamentally relaxed feeling that can also help with depression.
When using an ice molded waterpipe about how many long do you have before it melts?
It starts to melt instantly and the hotter the room, the sooner it melts. We like adding ice to a glass water pipe so it never melts away.
We think you have about 10 minutes of use

The opacity in papers gives the consumer an idea of how thin the papers are. The thinner the paper, most times it will be more transparent.
The easiest way to stop a run on a joint is to add some water or spit to where it starts to run. The sooner you do this, the better the fix.
How do you put crushed opal into a piece or marble?
All you have to do is trap the opal in the glass. This can be done by getting glass hot, rolling it in some crushed opal, and encasing it with a glass rod
Or you could put some crushed opal in a tube with some frit and the frit will help trap the opal in the glass.
Which is better more water or more percolators for smoking or vaping?
What is better is what you like best. The more water makes more drag. More holes make less drag. The more water that is over the holes, the more drag.
The more percolators will cool the smoke and vapor more, also it will filter more.
How are color rods created? Prep color tubes for example. (Northstar Glass tubes)
Clear glass (Cullet) is melted, then minerals are added to get the color. This is all done in a crucible that is in a very hot kiln or oven.
After 4-14 days of mixing and off-gassing the color is done.
To pull rods they simply pull the glass from the molten color as a steady pace to get the proper size
To pull tubing, they use a metal tube, stick it in the glass and pull while blowing in air.
There are also other ways that smaller artists can do this, and extra-large glass facilities use machines to pull.
How does someone go about marbling glass?
This is a technique that is mastered over time.
Basically, the artist puts some color on and smears it with clear. Many times it is then completely covered with the clear rod, or sleeved.
